Porn Star Capri Anderson Talks Charlie Sheen, Miami Dade College, and Bang Bus
For any South Florida resident who has lived here their whole lives, you know it’s a great place to grow up. And a lot of amazing people have come from the Magic City: Sidney Poitier, Enrique Iglesias, Jose Canseco, Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan. And well, we forgot one: porn star Capri Anderson.
Yep, Miami, one of the biggest stars in the adult entertainment industry is from good ol’Miami. Name not ringing a bell? Well, her real name is Christina Walsh. And she is the lady involved in that whole Charlie Sheen breakdown inside a New York City hotel that led to her locking herself in a bathroom of Sheen’s suite.
She is headed back home to the 305 to be part of Exxxotica. And we got the chance to speak with her about everything from how she got in the business to Mr. #winning.
New Times: Did you grow up in South Florida?
Capri Anderson: I grew up there most of my life. From 5 to 18 around the Pinecrest area.
You’re heading back down here to be a part of the Exxxotica Festival. Tell us about that.
I’ll be signing DVDs and pictures. I have a new DVD with Vivid called Little Black Book that I will have with me. I’ll also be speaking on a panel, answering questions for fans and stuff.
How did you get started in the adult entertainment industry?
When I was 18 years old, I was living with a boyfriend, working two jobs and going to Miami Dade College. I was working my butt off all the time, and I was young and struggling to pay bills and for textbooks, so I would look online for extra work. We would always see this ad for couples making “this” amount of money in one day. And eventually, we thought we would do it just this once and no one would find out. We filmed for Bang Bus and it was all over from there. (Laughs out loud) I kid.
What did your family say when you told them you had made an XXX film?
Oh, man. It was the worst thing in the universe trying to explain it to them. At first, they thought I was under the influence of drugs. But then the shock value was over and they knew I was the same person. They loved me at the end of the day.
Is getting a DVD deal with Vivid in porn a big accomplishment in the porn world? They have become the kings of the porn.
Definitely. It validated my career for sure. It’s great working for them.

Vivid Signs Allie Haze
Vivid Entertainment has announced that XRCO New Starlet winner Allie Haze has been signed as the newest Vivid Girl, and will make movies exclusively for the leading studio. Haze is the second Vivid Girl to be contracted this year, following Capri Anderson’s signing in March.
“We decided to bring back exclusive stars only if they were very exceptional, and Allie is a prime example,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid. “Our two top directors, Axel Braun and B. Skow, brought her to my attention independently of each other. We met with her and immediately knew she was incredibly special. We are all delighted she’s on board and we think that Vivid fans will be excited by her sexy beauty and irrepressibly happy personality.”
A fun-loving 23-year-old born in the lush Inland Empire of California, Haze grew up as an athletic girl who studied hard and kept her days full with academics, soccer, theater and volunteering for an animal rescue organization.
“I married a preacher when I was 18, and that turned out to be a big mistake, especially from the sexual side of the relationship,” she said. “We were divorced by the time I was 20. It felt like I was let out of a cage. Up to then I never thought much about sex, or had even a passing interest in adult entertainment.”
Haze entered college, got a job as a bartender and did nude modeling to help pay her tuition.
“I’d always thought I was bi-sexual, so when I was offered some good money to be with a woman on camera, I was really up for it,” she added. “I liked it so much that it led to my finding an agent who helped me get more work with women.” Haze’s initial films earned the stunning, slender 5′7″ brunette a Best New Starlet nod by XRCO, the X-Rated Critics Organization.
Allie has also nurtured a mainstream acting career under the name of Brittney Joy, and was thrilled when she was selected to star in seven mainstream feature films that will be showcased at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Allie will be in Cannes, but says that due to contractual obligations she can’t name the films until the production company makes its own announcement.
When Allie isn’t working, her interests include live theater, racing RC cars, walking on the Southern California beaches and spending time with family and Daisy, her English Bulldog mix.

Alexis Texas Stars in Mainstream Horror Film
Adult star Alexis Texas recently landed her first mainstream role in the independent film “Bloodlust Zombies,” a horror-comedy that will be released in July by Breaking Glass Pictures.
Texas plays a free-spirited office worker who is having an affair with her boss and later gets caught up in a gruesome battle with zombies when a chemical spill goes terribly wrong.
Elegant Angel’s resident “Buttwoman” shot the movie in February in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
“I was really excited to have the opportunity,” Texas told XBIZ Wednesday. “At first I was a little apprehensive and I didn’t know if I could do it, but I went in and had fun and it came out really good and I met a lot of cool people. I enjoyed myself and would definitely like to do more.”
Texas appears topless in the movie and also spends part of it in bra and panties. Breaking Glass Pictures produced the feature through its horror label, Vicious Circle Films. It will be available at DVD stores and at online retailers on July 5.
“Alexis Texas came highly recommended,” said Justin Cook, director of public relations and social networking for Breaking Glass Pictures. “We had put out the film ‘Half Moon’ with Tori Black in a similar role, and we were pleasantly surprised by her performance so we wanted to see if we could recreate that magic again.”
Dan Lantz made his directorial debut with “Bloodlust Zombies,” which is billed as “part office satire, part apocalyptic nightmare.” Cook told XBIZ the film also has a “female empowerment” angle to it.
“Before the zombie apocalypse, Alexis’ character is a lowly paper pusher who is sleeping with the boss. Then after everything happens she’s the one that grabs the ax and goes up against the zombies,” Cook said.

Meanwhile, Texas has been staying busy with her porn career, performing in Belladonna “Party of Feet 3” last week.
“I had an amazing time,” Texas said of the upcoming Belladonna Entertainment/Evil Angel release.
She is also slated to shoot for John Stagliano’s next “Buttman’s Stretch Class” movie in addition to performing for Naughty America in Miami, where she will represent L.A. Direct Models at the Exxxotica convention May 20-22.
