Job opening at LA Direct Models
LA Direct Models is currently looking for a new member of staff to join our busy agency.
The job requirements are as follows:
- Assist with scheduling and making sure models have their shoot info
- Various administrative tasks including filing, data entry, answering phone calls, ordering supplies etc.
- Running errands and house keeping tasks
You must have a valid California Drivers License and Social Security. A background check will be made on all applicants.
Hours will vary but start time is either 8am or 9am.
You must be comfortable with sexually explicit material and language.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Work well under pressure.
You must be aged 18 or over.
Pay is $12.00 per hour
Please do not apply if you are looking to spring board your career as talent.

AVN Party at Moon Nightclub
For those of you who remember (or dont in some cases depending on how much you drank) here is a recap of the night. The event was pout together by Evan Seinfeld for RockstarPornstar.com and was sponsored by LA Direct Models amongst others.
Attending the party was Alexis Texas, Gina Lynn, Kagney Linn Karter, Tori Black, Mason Moore, Yurizan Beltran and Aiden Ashley. Of course there was probably a whole bunch of others but i wasnt there so what do I know!!!

After a month worth of messing around with code and experimenting with various things, we are proud to show the world a new section in LA Direct Models.
Using the coding from Twistys and a lot of messing about with the website, all girls from LA Direct Models that have been featured in Twistys will pop up on a special page created for fans of the girls.

Tori Black scooped away an arm full of awards at the 2010 AVN Awards held in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Needless to say i havent been able to get through to Tori to ask her how it feels to carry that many awards. She’s probably still in bed!

LAS VEGAS—There’s so much to like about the 2010 AVN Awards Show that it’s difficult to know where to begin.
Could the high point have been the high-powered performance by rap group Baby Bash of their recent hit “Out of Control,” which featured scantily-clad beauties swinging from curtains and performing mid-air acrobatics in the show’s newest location, the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort? (Nah; too early; the evening’s only just begun!)
Could it be the opening video presentation, a smash-cut collection of clips from this year’s nominated movies and behind-the-scenes footage, all set to the familiar melody of “O Fortuna” from the classic musical masterpiece Carmina Burana? (A possibility; it’s certainly the most artistic video AVN has ever composed.)
Could it be the appearance of famous comedian Dave Attell, co-hosting the show with Wicked Pictures contract gal Kirsten Price and Digital Playground’s newest starlet Kayden Kross? (Couldn’t rule them out…)
The audience ate up Attell’s self-deprecating style, particularly when he noted early on that compared with the high-fashion attendees at the show, “I look like a greeter at Olive Garden.” Attell also claimed that one of his favorite adult series is Monster Cocks, remarking about a particular boxcover which had a starlet’s face almost obscured by a big black cock, “That’s when you know you have a big dick: When you can use it as a disguise.”
But of course, the main reason the show was so well attended was the awards themselves, and this year’s nominees certainly didn’t disappoint.
Among the nominated movies, the big winner was Adam & Eve’s apocalyptic blockbuster The 8th Day, nabbing seven awards including Best Video Feature, Best All-Girl Threeway Sex Scene, Best Videography/Cinematography, Best Makeup, Best DVD Extras, Best Packaging Innovation and Best Online Marketing Campaign—Individual Project.
“This was a really difficult movie for us to make, and it was almost legendary,” noted director Ren Savant, speaking for the entire cast which had joined him on-stage to accept the trophy. “And all these people behind me are such a big, big part of this. Everyone here knows a big release takes a lot of people to do.”
One of the evening’s bigger surprises, however, was the number of awards given to Tori Black, both for her individual performances—she took home awards for Female Performer of the Year, for Interactive Sex with Tori Black, and for her all-girl couples sex scene with Lexi Belle in Girlfriends Films’ Field of Schemes 5—and for her excellent work in her star vehicle, Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy, which snagged the Best Gonzo Release trophy, as well as awards for Tori’s Best Tease Performance and her Best Threeway Sex Scene with Rebeca Linares and Mark Ashley.
As the nominees for Female Performer of the Year were about to be read, presenter Evan Stone loudly claimed, “There are 15 nominees for Female Performer—15!—and I’ve fucked all of them!”… to which his co-presenter Joanna Angel retorted, “Oh, yeah? Me too!”
2010 was also a record year for the number of categories that ended in a tie, most notably Best Parody, where voters were evenly divided on the accomplishments of both The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody, which also delivered this year’s Best Actress award (and a diamond bracelet) for star Kimberly Kane, and Not The Cosbys XXX, which also scored Best Non-Sex Performance for Cosby look-alike Thomas Ward.
Voters also voted evenly for the dual winners of Best All-Girl Threeway Sex Scene, Best Director—Foreign Feature, and Best Overall Marketing Campaign—Company Image.
There were a few memorable lines from the evening’s acceptance speeches, the best of which had to be Sasha Grey’s acceptance of the Best Oral Sex Scene award for Throat: A Cautionary Tale.
“I really didn’t think I was going to win this,” Grey told the audience. “Can someone remind me who the guy was?”
Interspersed between the awards were several entertainments, including an episodic “Behind the Scenes of the AVN Awards,” which had Kirsten Price giving a visual demonstration of how many movies each voter had to watch, and noting, while sitting on editor Pete Warren’s lap, that although most people think AVN employees get laid all the time, in fact, they have 68 percent less sex than the general population.
Another highlight of the evening was the video montage accompanying Sasha Grey’s receipt of Crossover Star of the Year, which contained scenes from both her adult work and her several mainstream appearances in movies like Smash Cut and The Girlfriend Experience.
Attendees were also treated to a bevy of beauties recreating a scene that could have been taken from Buttman’s Stretch Class, with Belladonna as the taskmistress appearing on the giant video screen behind them.
Kagney Linn Karter signs exclusive with Zero Tolerance
Zero Tolerance has signed Kagney Linn Karter to an exclusive contract.
VENICE, CA – It’s the biggest week of the year for the adult industry and Kagney Linn Karter is no exception: Today Zero Tolerance has announced that they have signed the industry’s newest superstar to an exclusive, two-year contract.
“I had a really great first year,” the excited starlet said, “but this gives me the opportunity to really focus with one company that is putting everything they have behind me. I couldn’t be happier!”
Kagney said she is looking forward to performing in the company’s high-end gonzo releases and features.
“We’re going to be working with scripts that are written specifically for me,” she said. “This gives me the chance to have some real input into what movies I appear in, which is something I’m very excited about. It’s exactly the direction I want to go in right now.”
With AEE taking place later this week, Kagney is heading to Vegas with the rest of the industry. She will be signing Thursday through Sunday at the Hustler booth. Saturday night she will be on hand for the AVN Awards, where she is up for several awards.
Completing her show schedule, Kagney will co-host Evan Seinfeld’s party at the Moon nightclub in the Palms Hotel. The event begins at Friday at 10 pm.
AVN has nominated Kagney for Best New Starlet, Best Supporting Actress (Not Married With Children XXX), Best All-Girl Three-Way Scene (Swing Time), Best Couples Sex Scene (Swimsuit Calendar Girls 2), Best POV Sex Scene (Pound the Round POV) and Best Solo Sex Scene (Not Married With Children XXX).
With the clock ticking until the big night, AVN Associate Editor Pete Warren interviewed Kagney for AVN Live. In the interview they cover the awards, her first year in the adult business, feature dancing and several other topics.
“I’m really honored and extremely happy and very humble,” she says in the interview. “I’m just happy to be in the same league as those other girls.”
The accolades have already been rolling in for the freshman superstar. She was recently named Best New Performer by Adult Web Movie Database (AWMDB), and Gram Ponante’s Porn Valley Observed declared her Best Newcomer. Last week she was included on Fleshbot’s list of Top Ten Crush Objects of 2009.
“I’ve never been to the AEE convention or the AVN Awards, so this is going to be a brand new experience for me,” Kagney says. “I know this week is going to be something I will never forget. I’m so excited to meet the fans and to see and meet people in the industry!”
Kagney is also up for New Starlet of the Year at the XBIZ Awards; Best Newbie in RogReviews.com’s Fan Faves competition; and for the Miss FreeOnes 2010 title.
She will be signing in the Hustler booth Thursday through Sunday, from 10-6 each day.
